We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Structural Designer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from bridge design to highway infrastructure development.
About the Role
As a Transportation Structural Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting structural analysis and design related to bridges and other transportation infrastructure
- Evaluating the condition of existing structures
- Assisting with bridge inspections and report preparation
- Using structural design tools such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge, SFrame, Midas Civil, and AutoCAD
- Preparing engineering plans, documents, schedules, and reports as assigned
- Preparing construction cost and life cycle cost estimates
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Midas Civil, SAP2000/SFrame/AutoCAD and similar software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
