About the Role:
">We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Expert to join our team at BDO (Nederland). This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to work on cloud security engineering projects, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

- Collaborate with Clients and Internal Team Members: Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and goals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.">
- Deliver High-Quality Work: Provide expert-level guidance on cloud security architectures, implementations, and risk-based recommendations to ensure that client projects meet their objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.">
- Security Assessments and Recommendations: Conduct thorough reviews of cloud security architectures and implementations, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations to enhance security posture.">
- Client Communication and Education: Educate and communicate cloud security requirements, policies, standards, and procedures to business/internal stakeholders, ensuring they have a clear understanding of cloud security best practices.">
- Industry-Leading Solutions: Assess and implement industry-leading security solutions and practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.">
- Automation Opportunities: Assist in identifying automation opportunities both internally and for clients, helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency.">
- Reports and Presentations: Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences, effectively communicating complex security concepts and recommendations.">
- Proposal Development: Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals that meet client needs.">
- Cloud Service Providers: Collaborate with multiple cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, to understand their solution offerings and advise clients on appropriate technologies and architectures.">
About You:
">We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cloud Security Expert who can demonstrate BDO's core values: Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration. The ideal candidate will have:

- 3-5 Years of Relevant Experience: Proven experience in cloud security, including identity and access management, logging and monitoring, data security, and cloud reference architecture.">
- Education and Certifications: College Diploma or University Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Computer Science, with advanced certification in one or more cloud service platforms.">
- Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity with security assessment and audit standards for the cloud – Cloud Security Alliance CCM, CIS, NIST Cloud Reference Architecture, as well as knowledge of application security concepts and overall application design and architecture.">
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.">
- Microsoft Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Information Protection and Governance, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), as well as experience implementing and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.">
- Cloud Security Tools and Methodologies: Experience with cloud security assessment tools and methodologies, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and implementation.">
