Position Overview
Velocity Truck Centres is a leading provider of trucking services in Western Canada, with a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled Central Operations Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Central Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our business within the service department, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance service department efficiency
- Providing training and quality assurance to service staff
- Monitoring and reviewing accounting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Reconciling payments daily for the service department
- Providing reporting and metrics to service management to support strategic goals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years' experience in a service operations role
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in remote working tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Well-developed coaching and mentoring skills
- Experience supporting or leading projects and working with lean methodologies
