Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Woodbridge. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of food to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules that balance staff needs with business demands, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Dairy Queen Woodbridge, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and multitasking skills. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements- Availability for shift or on-call work, as required.
- Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work culture.
- Previous experience in food service or a related field, with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and management.
- Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and safety.
