Overview

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Hospital Safety Monitors. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the security and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors within our facilities.

Job Summary

Hospital Safety Monitors (Casual) will be responsible for logging and reporting incidents, conducting facility patrols, and responding to alarms while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Monitor and document all incidents reported by hospital staff, physicians, patients, or visitors
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the facility to prevent unauthorized entry and direct individuals who initiate disruptions to leave
  • Identify and mitigate risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, and other breaches of security
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency calls for assistance
  • Monitor situations, cameras, property, and events to maintain a safe environment
  • Foster effective relationships with key stakeholders and visitors through courteous and respectful communication
  • Screen and monitor visitors and clients in a professional manner to grant access to the facility
Responsibilities

This role requires working on assigned shifts (8-12 hours), performing proactive and reactive security patrols and responses to incidents. You will also be responsible for writing reports, investigating routine incidents, and responding to code emergencies in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, you will need to display excellent customer service skills, work with individuals under stress or in need of medical assistance, and stand and walk for extended periods.

Estimated Salary Range

$19.00/hour
