About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Skyluxe Roofing and Sheet Metal. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing, asphalt shingles, and metal roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roofing Installation and Repair: Install built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Roofing Maintenance: Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings, and repair or replace single-ply roofing systems.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices on roofing techniques and best practices.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects, and plan and coordinate roofing work with other crew members.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and regulations, and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
