Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Body Repair Specialist to join our team at ELM Logistics. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our body repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain workspace to ensure a safe and organized environment
  • Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame, as well as underbody components, to restore vehicles to their original condition
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, using precision techniques to achieve flawless results
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, requiring great attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, demonstrating expertise in vehicle restoration
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using specialized equipment and materials to achieve showroom-quality results
  • Repair or replace interior components, including upholstery, carpets, and trim, to create a like-new driving experience
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, showcasing proficiency in glasswork and glazing
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve an exact match, requiring exceptional color theory skills
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, displaying expertise in metalworking and fabrication
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, demonstrating knowledge of vehicle engineering and mechanics
