Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Procurement Specialist to play a significant role in the procurement and contracting process for services and construction projects managed by our department. As a key member of the project team, you will lead the procurement process, preparing RFQs, RFPs, RFEOIs, bids, and contract documents.

Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to project managers and consultants on the use of master specifications, solicitation templates, forms, and guidelines. You will also assign duties and provide guidance to support staff, review and comment on solicitation documents, and coordinate printing, advertising, and distribution of bid documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the procurement process for services and construction projects

Requirements
  • Diploma in architectural, engineering, commerce, business, or equivalent
  • Recent graduate (apply within 2 years of graduating)
  • Experience in technical writing, good specification writing practices, and Microsoft Office software
  • Familiarity with public organization requirements and supply chain management
