About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at U V Conn Inc. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend the appropriate goods or services.

  • Develop Reports and Proposals
  • Deliver Sales Presentations
  • Use Sales Forecasting Software
  • Conduct Sales Transactions
  • Provide Ongoing Support
  • Resolve Product and Service Related Problems
  • Troubleshoot Equipment Issues
  • Supervise Technical Sales Specialists
  • Estimate Installation and Maintenance Costs
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Urban area
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
  • Sales Experience: Consulting services, Electrical and electronic equipment, Telecommunications equipment and services
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Attention to detail
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Organized, Reliability, Team player
