About the Role

We are seeking a talented Treasury Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting treasury and budgeting functions at both corporate and departmental levels.

You will assist in preparing the annual budget, including development and updating of budget working papers and estimates. You will also forecast year-end balance and analyze budget variances throughout the year, highlighting significant variances and providing reasonable explanations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing the annual budget, including development and updating of budget working papers and estimates.
  • Forecast year-end balance and analyze budget variances throughout the year.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and statistical reports, reconciliations, and working papers for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (Accounting or Finance concentration), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial, accounting, or analytical role, preferably in a municipal or public sector environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
