Cooke Aquaculture Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their accounting team in Truro, Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient handling of general day-to-day and monthly accounting activities, including reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, completing bank reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of working paper files.

Qualifications:

A post-secondary education in Business (minimum 2-year course) with minimum 2 years related work experience is required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work well in a deadline-driven environment, with high attention to detail and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
