We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a dedicated family caregiver. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional care to children, including feeding, bathing, and dressing
* Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment
* Shop for food and household supplies, managing the household budget effectively
* Supervise and engage with children, promoting social development and personal hygiene
* Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, considering dietary needs and preferences
* Establish a daily routine, ensuring children's needs are met and schedules are followed
* Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about daily activities and any concerns
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, health information, and medication administration
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in childcare or a related field
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to perform lifting, bending, and other tasks associated with caregiving
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
