Operations and Process Enhancement Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Operations Officer II to join the Wealth Shared Services team at Randstad Canada. This role is designed to support high volumes during peak season.

The Operations Officer will work in a hybrid capacity, with mandatory onsite days on Mondays and Tuesdays. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth operational processes, maintaining high service levels, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Operations Officer will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolving customer problems using established procedures and escalating when necessary to ensure that all processes, inquiries, and transactions meet service level goals.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert within their area, offering guidance to partners as needed.
  • Completing assigned tasks with accuracy and within established standards.
  • Actively participating in daily work distribution and team touchpoints.
  • Contributing to audits by following audit and process guidelines.
  • Identifying areas of risk and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Suggesting and participating in process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Understanding and applying bank/service center operating policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrating adaptability to change and adopting new processes and technology improvements as needed.
  • Maintaining due diligence to ensure the accuracy of all transactions.

This role requires:

  • Operations experience, including demonstrated experience in an operations or back-office role with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including the ability to navigate and use tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook for daily tasks and operations.
  • Back-office experience, including prior experience in handling back-office tasks, ensuring the accuracy of processes, and maintaining records.
