Job Overview

As a Part-time Warehouse Associate at Fastenal, you will play a vital role in the heart of our operations. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining branch inventory, receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain branch inventory
• Receive, pick, package, ship, and cycle count inventory
• Make local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success

Requirements

• Possess a current full G valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located
• 18 years of age or older
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
