Job Title: Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at PRABHSIMRAN CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing work.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
Working Conditions:
