Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide consultation on prescriptions and products to customers, ensuring they receive accurate and helpful information.
  • Medication Dispensing: Dispense medication accurately and efficiently, following federal and provincial regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, ensuring that medications and supplies are stocked and available as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate pharmacy team members, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations, and report to regulatory bodies as required.
Requirements
  • Independent Thinking: Demonstrate independent thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments.
  • Customer Relations: Possess strong customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and healthcare professionals.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong personal computing skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems.

Compensation

$65.00 per hour

A candidate's experience and knowledge, as well as the geographical region in which the position is located, may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
