Southern Health-Santé Sud is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that patients receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.

As a Dietary Aide, you will work under the direction of the Site Coordinator or Supervisor ‐ Nutrition and Food Services to complete assigned tasks related to food preparation, serving, and distribution. You will be responsible for serving meals to clients, performing cashier duties, and following proper sanitation safety guidelines.

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. If you have previous experience working in food handling and/or health care food services environments, we encourage you to apply.

The successful candidate will possess a Grade 10 education and a completion of a Dietary Aide certificate. They must also have knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications, Outlook/email, and online training. Additionally, they will require certification in Food Handler Training level 1 or equivalent Food Sanitation course within six months of employment.
