Electrical Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Electrical Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our business by developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new opportunities in the electrical sales industry.

Your primary focus will be on generating revenue through outside sales, quotes, and after-sale service. You will work closely with our internal team to ensure customer needs are met and develop long-term relationships with customers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' sales experience, preferably in the electrical industry, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A clean driver's abstract is required, and post-secondary courses in electrical or a related field would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Create and manage territory sales budgets
  • Enter quotations and orders into the system with accuracy
  • Attend to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Build relationships and partnerships with vendors
  • Work closely with our internal team to ensure customer needs are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum grade 12 education
  • Minimum of two years' sales experience (Counter Sales, Inside Sales or Account Manager)
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Post-Secondary courses in electrical preferred

The salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Final candidates will undergo an assessment and security screening, including a Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson.
