Job Title: Digital Business Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Business Consultant to join our team at OLG. As a Digital Business Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the Product Owner and agile team by acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform stakeholder analysis and requirements gathering sessions with key business stakeholders to establish business needs and workflows.
  • Identify and map out what technology, expertise, and stakeholders are needed to pass acceptance criteria successfully.
  • Develop and maintain business analysis artifacts, such as business requirements, requirements traceability matrix, user stories, epics, use cases, and edge cases.
  • Manage testing activities using an Application Life Cycle Management Tool.
  • Identify risks, constraints, dependencies, and assist in the development of roll-out plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure a successful roll-out.
  • Support Product Owners by coordinating with internal stakeholders, SMEs, and third-party vendors when needed.
  • Help Product Owners understand business costs associated with engaging with third-party vendors.
  • Create, leverage, and/or update business deliverables, including gap analysis reports, business process models, activity diagrams, flow charts, and storyboards.
  • Support the Product Owners in capturing and analyzing acceptance criteria, defining metrics to track success of the team (KPIs).
  • Support design and development teams with troubleshooting as they build the solution.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure acceptance criteria is understood and that test scenarios are built accordingly.
  • Develop a deep understanding of current business processes and collaborate with partners within the division on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of solutions into production and work with Lab teams and other partners within the division to develop and implement the roll-out plan.
  • Act as a flexible resource to the design team to support activities such as user acceptance testing and other related activities.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of relevant aspects of a Digital business and technology components to support requirements gathering/business casing.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology and tools preferred but not required.
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in a medium-sized organization.
  • Previous business analyst/system analyst experience with digital teams preferred.
