Job Title: Intermediate Developer

Job Summary:

L'Atelier Animation, a leading animation studio, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our pipeline and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, create, and support new workflows as well as existing ones.
  • Optimize, maintain, and modernize our studio's pipeline by developing and maintaining efficient code.
  • Code, deploy, test, maintain, and document APIs and infrastructure.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing issues with existing pipeline/front-end tools.
  • Modify and extend existing pipeline tools to support new workflows, design new systems, or optimize existing features.
  • Maintain a positive team dynamic.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python are required.
  • Familiarity with various DCC/logic software used in the industry (Maya, Nuke, etc).
  • Knowledge of Qt/PySide is an asset.
  • Knowledge of software testing (e.g. unit tests, integration tests, etc.) is an asset.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, highly motivated, and eager to work with the latest technologies.
  • Good practical knowledge of Linux, preferably.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk ShotGrid and programming experience is an asset.
  • Professional orientation towards the visual effects industry is an asset.
  • Able and interested in acquiring new skills autonomously, highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the C++ programming language is an asset.
