About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Kelowna Roofing (1984) Ltd. as an Installation and Fabrication Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Fabrication: Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes, and operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.
  • Equipment Selection and Operation: Select equipment for residential and small commercial construction projects.
  • Supervision and Teamwork: Supervise other workers and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification and a Sheet Metal Worker Red Seal Certificate.
  • Education and Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Specialized Skills: Possess specialized skills in custom sheet metal items and have a valid driver's license.
