About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Sweet Love Childcare Centre Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Child Care: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership: Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children, and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The position requires manual dexterity and attention to detail.
