Job Title: Senior Manager, Research + Insights

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Research + Insights will lead enterprise-wide research engagements by leveraging secondary research to derive insightful analysis and support strategic initiatives across RBC. This role will be responsible for delivering research strategy support through projects to a portfolio of internal business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build high-impact deliverables leveraging qualitative and quantitative information from best-in-class secondary research suppliers.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of secondary research projects, including scoping, information gathering, analysis, solution development, reviewing deliverables, and presenting findings.
  • Engage with business units within your portfolio to understand their needs, identify appropriate research support, and build relationships.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members in project settings and within the research practice overall.
  • Support the expansion of research service offerings and continuous improvement of the research practice.
  • Manage enterprise-wide research needs and relationships with select research suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Masters or other post-secondary degree.
  • 3-5 years' experience leveraging research and consulting capabilities to conduct research, synthesize big ideas, develop insights, present recommendations, and meet stakeholder needs.
  • 2+ years' Financial Services experience.
  • Demonstrated high-level proficiency in written and verbal communications, logical storyboarding, relationship and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with vendor operations and supplier management.
  • Innovative thinker with proven experience demonstrating outside-of-the-box thinking.
