About the RoleAs a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for overseeing the condition of your vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will also perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as conduct emergency roadside repairs when necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading goods
- Operating and driving dump trucks to transport goods and materials
- Inspecting and maintaining vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency
- Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Conducting emergency roadside repairs
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects, and possess good communication skills.
