About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Director to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Suites Victoria. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures

Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring that they are aligned with the hotel's goals and objectives.

Supervise Staff

Supervise and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

Conduct Performance Reviews

Conduct regular performance reviews with staff, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.

Negotiate with Clients

Negotiate with clients to secure the use of our facilities, ensuring that we meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Prepare Marketing Plans

Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the hotel and attract new guests.

Implement Marketing Activities

Implement marketing activities, such as social media campaigns and email marketing, to engage with our guests and promote the hotel.

Enforce Policies and Procedures

Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring that they are followed by all staff members.

Develop and Implement Business Plans

Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.

Work Term and Hours

This is a permanent position, working 35-40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

English language proficiency.
