Are you passionate about working with startups and helping them grow in the cloud? Do you have a strong background in cloud computing and infrastructure architecture? We're looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team.

About the Role

We're a team of customer-obsessed technical experts who help early-stage startups build scalable and secure architectures in the cloud. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you'll work directly with startups to provide technical advocacy and help them make the best technical decisions. You'll also play a key role in creating plans to define how you'll help your customers with their cloud needs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with startup customers to provide technical advocacy and help them build scalable and secure architectures in the cloud.
  • Create plans to define how you'll help your customers with their cloud needs, in conjunction with other members of the customer account team.
  • Share your technical knowledge broadly by participating in select, startup-focused sessions with larger groups of customers.
  • Work with other teams at AWS to contribute to the creation of content that can be delivered to the broader startup community at scale.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent, or 8+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
