GAVRO FREIGHT INTERNATIONAL INC is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Ensure that goods are properly loaded and unloaded from trucks to prevent damage and ensure efficient transportation.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of trucks to ensure they are in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Regularly maintain trucks to prevent breakdowns and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Receive and Relay Information: Receive and relay information to central dispatch to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
  • Record Cargo Information: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with GAVRO FREIGHT INTERNATIONAL INC, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
