We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Real Estate Manager to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our real estate function and ensuring the effective management of our facilities and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Real Estate Strategy: Work with our business areas and divisions to establish a comprehensive real estate strategy and master plan aligned with our business objectives.
  2. Manage Financial Performance: Oversee the financial performance of the real estate function, ensuring that we meet or exceed our committed performance levels.
  3. Lead Real Estate Team: Lead a team of real estate professionals and support staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of our real estate objectives.
  4. Manage Real Estate Transactions: Lead and execute real estate transactions, lease administration, and development projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
  5. Establish and Maintain Real Estate Inventory: Develop and maintain a detailed inventory of our real estate assets, including owned, leased, and occupied sites.
  6. Benchmark and Rationalize Occupancy Costs: Regularly benchmark and rationalize occupancy costs for all facilities, ensuring that we are optimizing our space and cost efficiency.
  7. Implement Green Real Estate Program: Develop and implement a green real estate program to reduce our environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.
  8. Manage Mergers and Acquisitions: Manage the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that we are optimizing our facilities and assets.
  9. Engage with North America Countries: Engage with our North America countries to align and simplify operations and processes.
  10. Act as Prime Point of Contact: Act as the prime point of contact for local authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring that we are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 Years of Professional Real Estate Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional real estate experience in a corporate or global real estate environment.
  • Master's Degree in Real Estate or Related Field: A master's degree in real estate, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to Develop and Lead a Distributed Workforce: Ability to develop, lead, and coach a distributed workforce within a functional organization.
  • Fluency in French and English: Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
