Franzer Health Authority is a leading healthcare provider in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Our organization is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations, including children and adolescents. As a Pediatric Mental Health Clinician, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission by providing expert mental health services to pediatric patients in emergency departments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health assessments to identify client and family needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Provide crisis intervention and short-term follow-up treatment services as needed
  • Collaborate with emergency department staff, community agencies, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and coordinated care
  • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to discharge planning and aftercare services

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Clinical Counselling, or a related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in child and adolescent mental health, including assessment, intervention, and case management
  • Eligibility for registration with relevant professional associations
  • Valid BC driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
