Artisan Painter

We are seeking a skilled Artisan Painter to join our team at Winmar Property Restoration Specialists Halifax. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Estimate costs and materials

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
• English language proficiency

Work Environment:

• 35 hours per week
• Permanent position
