Job Title: English as a Second Language Teacher

MAPLE VANTAGE EDUCATION CENTRE is seeking a qualified English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher to join our team. As an ESL teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students of various ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students, including preparing teaching materials and outlines for courses.
  • Administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress, and provide feedback to students.
  • Conduct course and program evaluation or review to ensure the quality of education.
  • Deliver lectures and presentations, and teach students through various methods, including lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and laboratory studies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in teaching English as a second language or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work with students of various ages and skill levels.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
