About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatchers Supervisor to join our team at Glidex Delivery and Janitorial Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Transportation Operations
    • Ensure the efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery.
    • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of 11-15 staff members.
    • Provide technical advice and guidance to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs.
  • Logistics and Scheduling
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Work under pressure to meet operational demands.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to handle heavy loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of work.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proactive and able to work independently.
