About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse Team Leader coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Community Health Workers and other unregulated members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (CCLPNs), Community Health Workers (CHWs) and other unregulated members of the team
  • In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, performs assessments, makes nursing diagnoses, implements and provides personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting
  • Operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

This is a casual opportunity, meaning hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.

Work Schedule: Shifts will be scheduled days and evenings, rotating from 06:30 to 14:30, 13:00 to 21:00, 14:00 to 22:00, 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
