Job Title: HSEQ Coordinator

At Brock Group, we are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for promoting and demonstrating a strong safety culture across all aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections and observations of work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Review and provide feedback to supervisors and crew members on hazard assessment and risk assessment documents.
  • Ensure that all requirements of the Health and Safety Program are being carried out by all project personnel, including management, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other parties working on or visiting the project site.
  • Provide support and direction to field crews in the use of the Health and Safety Manual.
  • Attend job and safety equipment demonstrations, and coordinate and participate in testing of the overall Emergency Plan.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and implement orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Report daily to the Safety Manager/Lead on safety issues and concerns that may require their involvement or attention.
  • Track and maintain site incident trends and statistics, and complete and submit incident investigations and reports.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of direct field experience in a related field and NCSO Certification is an asset.
  • National Construction Safety Officer Designation (NCSO); WHIMIS 2015; CSTS-09; Valid Driver's license & reliable vehicle.
  • Craft knowledge in scaffolding, insulation, fireproofing, and painting (preferred) or equivalent plant operations/maintenance experience.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
