Job Title: Hairstylist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our team at Mirage Parlour.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling services to our clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair using various techniques and tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Shampoo and condition hair, and apply various hair treatments
  • Use bleach, dyes, and other coloring agents to achieve desired hair colors and styles
  • Apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces
  • Cut, trim, and style hair using various techniques and tools
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and responding to client inquiries
  • Maintain and order supplies, including hair care products and equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hair styling industry
  • Equivalent experience or training in a related field
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The work site environment is noisy and may involve exposure to odors.

Work Setting:

The successful candidate will work in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio environment.
