Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Call Security Guard to join our team at Securiguard. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide security services to clients in Terrace and Kitimat, including patrolling premises, responding to alarms, and investigating incidents.
- Monitor and control access to client properties, including issuing passes and badges as required.
- Conduct regular patrols of client properties to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and their employees, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment for clients and their employees.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid BC Security License
- Driver's license is desired but not a requirement for some sites
- Pride in delivering outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write reports on job-related activities
- Keen eye for observing exterior and interior premises
- Ability to provide building access control
- Approaches a situation with a listening mindset
- Capable of standing for a duration of 8-12 hours
Availability:
- On-Call
- Days, Afternoons, Overnights
- Weekdays and Weekends
