This position is available at our Extendicare Timmins Home location in Ontario.
About the JobWe are seeking a dedicated individual to spearhead change and boost staff morale by acting as champions to support PSWs. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing effective strategies to mentor and educate PSWs
- Acting as a role model to ensure policies, protocols, and procedures are followed
- Assisting residents with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting, and personal grooming
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- PSW certification from an Ontario post-secondary institution or district school board that meets Ministry requirements
- The ability to perform physical tasks and duties, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
- Compassion, professionalism, and respect
