Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Planner to join our Facilities Maintenance Department at the Vancouver Airport Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective maintenance of our airport facilities and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and execute comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and availability of our airport facilities and assets.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Scheduling: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.
  • Manage Maintenance Resources: Oversee the allocation and utilization of maintenance resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor and Analyze Maintenance Performance: Track and analyze maintenance performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance processes.
  • Develop and Maintain Maintenance Procedures: Create and update maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide Training and Support: Train and support maintenance personnel on new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, maintenance management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or management, preferably in a similar airport or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex maintenance problems, develop effective solutions, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as CMRP or CMM, is an asset.
