Job Summary
Clinical Veterinarian Role
As a Clinical Veterinarian at Charles River Laboratories, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our laboratory animals. Your primary responsibilities will include providing optimal medical care, diagnosis, and treatment as per accepted veterinary practices, as well as reviewing and optimizing animal monitoring and SOPs related to animal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical care and guidance on procedures and techniques involving animals.
- Collaborate with the animal ethic committee to evaluate procedures and ensure animal welfare.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of animal care and welfare programs.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
- Valid OMVQ license.
- Good observation skills and ability to work physically.
- Understanding of written English is mandatory, with bilingualism in French and English being preferable.
