Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health and prevent weeds from growing.
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots to ensure optimal quality and efficiency.
  • Hand harvest vegetables and other crops to meet customer demand.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Weed crops to prevent competition for water and nutrients.
  • Clean work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield.
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry to meet customer demand.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a safe and healthy environment for livestock and poultry.
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry to prevent the spread of disease and ensure optimal health.
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and dusty conditions. The role requires the ability to work outdoors and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
