About the Role

Join Royal Bank of Canada in a challenging and rewarding opportunity as a Chief Strategy Officer, Technology and Operations. Reporting to the Director, Technology Strategy, this position will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives as part of the broader T&O Strategy & Innovation team mandates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and data analysis to develop leading edge insights on technology trends;
  • Develop thought leadership and strategic projects to inform decision making for T&O executives;
  • Provide subject matter advice and insights to T&O leadership teams to optimize business/technology performance;
  • Work with internal partners across RBC to identify opportunities for collaboration on research and insights;
  • Build and manage relations with external partners, including research agencies, venture capital, consultancies, academia, etc.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in executing strategic projects with a focus on technology strategy;
  • Ability to conduct market research and data analysis, and quickly synthesize insights to develop relevant implications;
  • Advanced proficiency in developing PowerPoint contents and tailoring message for an executive audience;
  • Highly motivated to continuously learn new concepts, skills, and knowledge;
  • Previous management/strategy consulting experience with a consulting firm;
  • Understanding of technology concepts - AI/ML, Data, SDLC, DevOps, Cloud Computing, IT Infrastructure, etc.
