Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Morning Hostess to join our team. As a Morning Hostess, you will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience, maintaining an efficient and organized restaurant, and communicating with all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests and effectively manage restaurant flow to maximize seating capacity.
- Have a proven ability to make decisions and empower others.
- Take ownership and communicate with Servers, Bartenders and Managers to maintain proper guest flow throughout the restaurant.
- Accurately take and confirm reservations over the phone and in person, modify guest status in Open Table.
- Develop a briefing sheet before each shift that will inform co-workers of shows/concerts, special events and NBs.
- Be fanatical about cleanliness and maintain awareness of which servers are in each section.
- Be a team player and open to other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Minimum 1 year restaurant experience
