Job Title: Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at 241 Pizza Sturgeon Falls. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook special meals for customers with dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, managing kitchen operations and ensuring seamless execution.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
