Job Summary

Datec Coating Corporation is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, measuring and laying out work pieces, and repairing machine tools and parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Inspection: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Machine Setup and Adjustment: Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair machine tools and parts, and maintain precision measuring instruments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Working Conditions

  • 30 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
