Retail Store Manager

At Ontario Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management and cash handling.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Manage payroll administration and oversee the recruitment and training of new staff members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to sales workers to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
