We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at pt Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Provide education and training to clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Support return-to-work programs and provide job coaching and accommodation recommendations
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to provide comprehensive care
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred)
  • Network with stakeholders to promote pt Health's OT programs

Requirements:

  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSBC referrals is a strong asset
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
