About the Role

This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. We are looking for an individual who possesses strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks, including adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. You will also inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, discuss work with supervisors, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification and Red Seal Endorsement
  • A Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
