We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Fraser Plastics Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas
- Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- Weigh materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory
- Wrap and pack goods for shipping and storage
- Sort, crate, and stack goods for efficient storage and transportation
- Install, lash, and secure goods for safe transportation
- Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner
As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.
Requirements- Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Adaptability and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
