Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of supplies and materials between departments, performing routine clerical duties, and preparing and submitting reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Perform routine clerical duties
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries
  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations
  • Organize warehouse and work areas
  • Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Prepare and process import and export documents and other forms on behalf of clients
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
