Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our team at EVRAZ North America. As an Electrical Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including communication systems, power distribution control equipment, and measuring devices.
  • Analyze electrical circuits and wiring diagrams to identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring specifications, and safety codes.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operation of electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of electrical system maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Diploma from a recognized Electrical Engineering Technology program.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Electrical Engineering Technology role or 4 years' experience in an industrial environment.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience in pipe manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of OH&S regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
